Connie Cutlip, Administrative Assistant

Connie, a life-long native of the Richland County area, graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ashland University.  She currently lives in the Crestview area with her husband, Bill, and their three girls, Caitlyn, Alex, and Casey.  She enjoys volunteering at Crestview Schools and helping in the community wherever she can.  She also enjoys cooking and baking, being outdoors, and doing things with her family.

Laurie Bedocs, Director of Worship

While Laurie's role has changed a bit in the past few months, her energy and excitement have not. Laurie has been a part of the worship team for a few years, and she has served in a couple different roles. As Director of Worship, Laurie works to develop a creative and meaningful worship experience. Laurie also works as the Registrar at Ashland Theological Seminary.

Meet our Faith UMC Staff!

Rick Lyon, Custodian

​Rick Lyon has been serving the job as Faith UMC custodian since summer 0f 2015. Rick goes above and beyond to ensure that we establish and maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for worship and other ministries.

Rick and his wife (Deb) and son (John) have been long-time members at Faith UMC. 

Amanda Seiter, Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordinator 

I have been a lifelong member of Faith UMC and I am so excited to be joining the church staff team as of July 2018. I graduated from Crestview High School in 2004 and The University of Findlay in 2009. I am married to Jorden and we have 2 children, Adley and Owen. 

I have a passion for sharing God’s love with children and youth, and one of my favorite things do to is direct Vacation Bible School each summer. I also work at Crestview as an Occupational Therapist, a job that I love! Outside of work, I like crafts, music, volleyball, going out to eat, and spending time with my husband and kiddos! At the church, you might also see me on the stage with the worship team on Sunday mornings or volunteering with women’s ministry events. Faith UMC is like a second home to me and I don’t know what I’d do without my church family!

Brian Amstutz, Pastor

Hi, I am Pastor Brian Amstutz and I thank you for visiting our website!  I would love to have you join us for worship and to have the opportunity to meet you in person. 

I grew up in Orrville and graduated from Orrville High School.  I married my wife Kim in 1988 and we are the parents of four grown daughters and the grandparents of seven.  My family and I attended Chapel of the Cross UMC in North Lawrence where over the years I served as a Sunday school teacher, small group Bible study leader, and my wife and I were youth directors.

I received a call to ministry in 2010 and attended Ashland Theological Seminary.  I was appointed to serve Faith UMC as senior pastor in 2017.  I also have the privilege of serving as the chaplain for the Crestview Cougar football team.

Kim and I live in Ashland and enjoy the outdoors, time with our growing family, board games, and cards.  It is our great joy to serve Faith and the Crestview community.  If you haven’t stopped by for a visit yet, I hope you will consider coming to see us at Faith!
